Last night, I watched a great movie. El Secreto de Sus Ojos was made by Argentinean, launched in 2009.
The movie tells about a guy, Benjamin Esposito, a retired legal counselor that is intended to write a novel. The novel encloses the case he took care of, 25 years ago. He also write about his unreciprocated love for his superior – Irene Menéndez-Hastings.
The language used was Spanish. And to enjoy the movie, of course, I got an English subtitles. No estoy hablando Españolo… :p
This movie shows friendship, love, passion, pain, and laugh. It’s hard to explain how great the movie was. So, I can only suggest you to watch it. 🙂
Another good thing is that I learn some more Spanish words. I did know some words before, and now I even get more about the grammatical things.
Don’t be shock, in the movie, you’ll hear a lot, like A LOT of swearing. When I found out about this thing, I couldn’t hold myself to chuckle. You know why? When I was with my Argentinean friends, they always use at least 1 insult on each sentence. I used to complain about this thing. But now, I know… It’s common there [maybe]. No offense, guys! :p
