Bali Summer Vacation 2017: Day 3

Hello gorgeous!

I’m back with the Bali Summer Vacation story! Day 1 was over, Day 2 was done, and now it’s time for Day 3: Saturday, 29 April 2017. Enjoy!

Hurley Outlet Store

My brothers and I started the day very late once again – we left the boarding house around 3 pm. Kekeke…

The plan was to go to breakfast – Hurley Store – WBF Bali – Krisna Bali – Seminyak – Legian. And in the end… we skipped breakfast/lunch and went straight to Hurley Outlet Store at Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai No. 11B, Kuta, Badung, Bali (HERE).

The 3 of us looked around and buy 1 stuff for each of us: Web Belt (Color: blue) IDR 75,000 for me (a gift for someone), Honor Roll Web Belt (Double sided: Army pattern and black) IDR 105,000 for Indra (My little brother – the 4th kid), and Basic Jumper IDR 450,000 for Yuda (My little brother – the 3rd kid). FYI, this shop takes card payment.

It took us around 1 hour to look around and finally decided what to buy. Next… left our motorbikes at Hurley’s parking lot and walk to the north (turning left after going out from Hurley), to the next destination: WBF!

World Brand Factory (WBF)

WBF is some kind of shopping center for branded sport (and some non-sports) apparels, such as Billabong, Quiksilver, Nike, Globe, Roxy, Ocean Earth, Converse, Juicematic, Volcom and more. This 3 stories shop is located Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai No. 11H, Kuta, Badung, Bali (HERE).

This place was like heaven and hell to me. Heaven of stuffs, because wherever you walked in, you could feel the clothes and shoes and bags greet you warmly. Hell for your wallet, because it was really hard to resist the urge to try on everything and at least buy 1 thing!

Me myself was almost dragged to buy 4 pairs of shoes, 2 bags, and 1 shirt. But fortunately, I kept myself sane and ended up buying 1 pair of Airwalk Celsea Red shoes for IDR 184,240. It was like 25% off from the normal price. Cheap!

I spent 1 hour at WBF and it was absolutely not enough. You’d probably need 2 hours or more to look around isle by isle, floor by floor, to think what you should buy thoroughly. Before I regretted my decision to kill my shopping desire back then, let’s move on! (Baaaagsss! Shoeeeees!!)

Seminyak Beach

We finally went directly to Seminyak because we wanted to catch the sunset moment. Seminyak is very popular for watching the sunset, especially with the long lines of restaurants and cafes along the beach which provide meals, booze, and music. Get your ass to Jalan Dhyana Pura No.99, Seminyak, Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali (HERE) to see the beach!

The Champlung Restaurant

We chose The Champlung Restaurant as our chillin’ spot (HERE). We ordered Pizza BBQ Chicken for IDR 105,000 (we were starving!). For drink, I took 1 mineral water for IDR 25,000, 1 Black Russian cocktail for IDR 95,000, and 1 Caipirosca cocktail for IDR 85,000. My brothers had 2 small bottles of Bintang Beer each.

Two friends of ours joined us when the sky was dark already. They ordered another pizza – it was Capriciosa pizza – for IDR 110,000 and 2 glasses of Tequila Sunrise cocktail for IDR 85,000 each. With the beanbags as our seats, we really had no urge to move out. So comfy!

We enjoyed our drinks, our conversations, and the live music for several hours. Indra even got to record a time-lapse video of the sunset. And I used a few minutes to get close to the sea, recording myself walking towards the water line. Plus… I managed to sing 2 songs with the home band of The Champlung! Bine!

Moving on! We went to Legian area, where all the pubs gathered! Before choosing a place to crash on, we parked at Jalan Legian Gang Troppozone, next to Bali Bombing Memorial. And then, we walked through Poppies Lane – passing the base camp of Superman is Dead (An Indonesian punk rock band), drawing some cash from the ATM center, and going back to the main street.

Paddy’s Pub

We set our foot on the pathway and chose random place. We dropped our choice to Paddy’s Pub at Jalan Legian No. 166, Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361 (HERE). The pub is so-so, not a fancy one, but decent. They had this promo of Buy 1 Get 1 Free. We ordered Mojito for me (IDR 95,000) and Blaster for my brothers (IDR 105,000).

The signature show of Paddy’s Pub is Michael Jackson cover dance show. A guy, dressed as MJ, performed twice on stage, imitating the King of Pop’s moves. Beat it, dude!

Lalapan Sambal Khas Bandung

After Legian, we stopped by at a street food stalls, Lalapan Sambal Khas Bandung. Getting our tummy full, the 5 of us finished 5 portion of rice, 5 portion of fried chicken breast, 1 portion of fried eggplants, 1 portion of cabbage saute, 2 bottles of mineral water, and 3 glasses of iced tea for IDR 105,000.

Aaand… it’s time to call it a day! But before leaving this post, check out the expenses during Day 3!

I am a greedy person. I always want to get more, to be more, to gain more. Sometimes I feel like I can't get through my own mind. I couldn't even understand myself. That's why I create ExtraordinarNee. To see through me, and to be seen... :)
